Welcome to the Figaro XML Database!
The Figaro XML Database is a .NET library built with the Oracle Berkeley DB XML product. It provides full compatibility with the Oracle product, while providing XML database functionality to .NET Framework developers on the Microsoft Windows platform.
The Figaro API was designed to correlate closely with the Oracle API help experienced Berkeley DB XML developers get familiar quickly. In addition, much of the following documentation closely follows the structure of the documentation found at the Berkeley DB product portal at the Oracle website.
This product is currently released as a release-to-manufacturing (RTM) preview, and subject to limited availability. A final release will be available soon, so check back often or contact Endpoint Systems to request participation in the program or for licensing inquiries.
